    Its called Maang Tikka. It goes right over the parting on your head and can be bought in various styles from simple to traditional to contemporary. It goes extremely well with co-ordinated earrings, bangles/bracelets and necklaces as you can see in the link.

    FYI- The model in the link is Hindi film actress Karisma Kapoor.
